Hello.
I was probably last on this account in 2018 because I did intend on ending it all. I therefore unpublished work that I should have left up. The only reason I have remembered this account is because I found an old google account in an old device and found Wattpad screenshots that were so familiar but I couldn't tell why. Then I found a book cover titled the Journal of a sex addict and I thought to try logging in and I remember my password from when I was like 8 years old ago?
8 years ago I was in an abusive household and my grades were so horrible I was not even going to make the cut for any post secondary school.
Well, I made it through law school. I got into a medical course and graduated. I am a financially struggling Masters student on the way to PhD but I am HAPPIER. I also left the abusive household but the trauma lingers on so much like a scent stuck on my skin. I am like Taylor swift when she said 'I have this thing where I get older but just never wiser'. I am trying to afford therapy and I am actively working on being kind to myself.
The panic has honestly been more than the disco. However I made it out of the burning house I was raised in and I no longer think the world is burning.

I hope a teenager sees this and sees herself through for the next eight years because she has got to make this work for herself. For anyone who forgets to look back on her journey, this is your sign that you have been making yourself proud.

I write she, because I really champion for girls and women since I am one.
