I'm almost done with the new chapter-- I've been working towards a whole section of storyline which is Leigh straight up not eating meat and having a restrictive eating disorder which she does recover from-- just a heads up going into that section of the plot!! I've been hinting about it for a long time but we're properly rolling with it from here on out

been MIA for a brief minute- got sick once, got sick twice, learned that I can no longer take cold and flu medication since I started reacting badly to a common ingredient in it, took a tiny detour with my best friend, and had to work?? crazy times. but I am * so close * to finishing the next chapter of civilians and hope it’ll be up Saturday. this one is extra exciting because it features a different POV, something I’ll be sprinkling around this story. pls play mirrorball on repeat because that’s the vibe.

your girl has to bake cookies before she finishes editing the next civilians chapter but also there’s gonna be a new civilians chapter tonight !!! 

next civilians chapter is a bit delayed because I’m dumb and started writing some of the big Bob&Gareth&termites scenes and now I’m just writing chapters backwards? low key this might be my fav part of the story and high key it’ll slap when I have like five chapters ready to go back to back but yeah- slight delays. 

I was fighting for my life to keep my eyes open long enough to finish the most recent chapter of civilians but absolutely worth it because I finally got to throw in the importance of the book Leigh carries around  I’m also working on the flashback chapters now so I can post them relatively quickly because the flow of this story is going to be broken for a bit.
          But yay! We took a really long detour from the plot to save Beth and now Civilians is back on track
