I have three new book lists! Please pay attention and let me know which list you would like to try:

Read My Entire Book - This list is if you want me to read your entire book. I won't look at it like an editor would, just a reader. Please note that I will stop if I lose interest in your book. I will genuinely try to complete it if I enjoy it. My feedback will be general comments, rather than line edits. If I don't want to continue, I will tell you why.

Stopped Reading At - This is my most savage review type yet. Only join this list if you're foolish, brave, or bravlish. I will read your book until the first moment that I don't want to continue, and I will be incredibly picky. If I make it past the first chapter, you will have done well! I will tell you how far I managed to read and what made me stop. This is not for the faint hearted!

Give Me Line Edits - This is a thorough examination of your book with really picky line edits. Any little error or piece of advice I can think of will be written next to your paragraphs. Please note that if your work is not already fairly well edited/polished, I will stop reviewing your book. I don't want to rewrite anyone's first/second draft.

So let me know if you want to be on any of these lists. I'll add you accordingly.

Okay, I was up until 3 a.m., but I got my book entered into the Wattys. There is one question that I can't seem to find an answer to. Does anyone know if we can keep editing our work once we have entered, or are we not allowed?

Of course, I want to keep editing, but I don't want to forfeit my entry.

If anyone knows the answer, would you be kind enough to share it with me? For the record, sharing is good, and is one of the joys of being part of a society. You know, it was a lovely lady named Comitas, who taught me about sharing. She told me that it's important for me to share with her, although it's not as important that she shares with me.

I learned her lesson the hard way at first, but it's become easier over time. Lacerations heal; welts, scars, bruises, and angry, red outlines of a hand fade; but her teachings are eternal.

Sorry, who's Comitas? If you don't know who she is, then you haven't really lived.

@paulgsavill LOL! I tried out to be a cheerleader in grade school (cause every girl in my class was doing it ... *smiles* didn't want to be left out in the dark) unfortunately head leader didn't let me in ... drama queen me steps in ... they allow me to cheer out for a week and then boom ... Pia out. Oh well!

Nowadays looking back at that ... I'm not really one who chants cheers or holds up Pom Poms. I'm like that tomboy who sits with her brother in the baseball stadium eating her Cracker Jacks and roots for the home team!

@BrittaSwann Why do I feel a song coming on? Also, I'm already crazy, so what's the risk?

Okay, okay. I'll catch up on my billion reviews. Thanks for the advice.

I am so sorry, everyone. I have 100 pages left to check and edit, before my submission. The clock is ticking!

Once I have finished, I will catch up on your wonderful books. I'm sorry for my continued silence, but the end is in sight.

@Blitz181 My final chapter is a closely guarded secret! If you read it, I will have to kill you! Unless those friends of friends you know do something to stop me?

My apologies to anyone who is giving or seeking feedback. I have decided to enter the Watty's this year, just for giggles and to see what it's all about. For this reason, I need to spend an inordinate amount of time polishing my book for submission.

I am trying to contribute to your books and reviews as well, but there are time pressures. I hope you all understand.

HAJones21

@paulgsavill Yep, I'm giving it a go. Good luck with finishing yours off.

@paulgsavill Yes, I'm trying to continue my Sci-Fi back-up story for the one shot I did for the Watt-a-decade challenge. Seeking an S.O.S. Behind the Scenes.
But sometimes my computer won't cooperate this week. I got sick last month too, so I'm not gonna try to pressure myself. I might enter the Wattys next year for the 5th time. Haven't won or been on the shortlist. What you read, Piper, is one of the submissions I did in the past. Now, I know some of the problems with it.

@PrettyinPunkBC I have just applied to join this review club based on a recommendation. It looks intriguing. You are placed in small groups where you give reciprocal reviews on each other's books. There are set rules to follow and books are vetted, which ensures a higher quality experience.

I'm looking forward to seeing if my book makes the cut and seeing what the club has to offer! You can try it too, if you're serious about giving and receiving quality feedback.

I'm back! You can expect to see activity from me in the next day or so. My internet has been connected and I have finished moving cities. I just have a busy couple of days ahead of me, so my ongoing apologies!

I hoped to spend my time reviewing books on my phone while moving, but I found some critical issues with Wattpad when used on a mobile device. I couldn't connect feedback to paragraphs using the app (making it next to useless), and when I tried to use the website instead, the post button was missing for most comment boxes! Imagine my consternation when I wrote a glorious, long comment, then couldn't actually post it!

Anyway, long story short, this is why I couldn't review books as promised. Expect to see me back with a vengeance in the next couple of days.
