@LissyStevens Yep, they are! And languages can open up your world in so many ways. It's harder to be misunderstood when you speak the native tongue of the person you're speaking to.

Yeah that's true... My language is german and I learn swedish, english and french. It's easy to say that european "old" languages are similar to each other because they really are!

@LissyStevens Don't worry; once you learn a few, you can easily learn others because of the similarities. German is the best one to start with simply because you can then branch off to others, namely Dutch and Swedish. French is also a good one to start with because it's easy and helps with Latin and even a better understanding of English! (I learned the definition of ennui from the French ennuyer)
