Ya know.. I've realized something.
Fanfics aren't just imaginary stories that we make up for entertainment purposes, they are actual real live things that good legitly happen to any of us. They are also a great way to escape reality, to pretend like something we want so badly is real. But have you ever noticed that once you've finished a chapter, and you're waiting for the author to update, or when you finish the entire story you feel either 2 ways: happy and teary or lonely and unstable. Well, that just depends on the fanfic. I don't know, it's just weird to come across something you wish would happen so badly, and to read about it for a long period of time, to end up with the conclusion that it's either never or gonna happen. It feels real. You feel like the main character and you feel the pain, happiness, grief, sadness, anger, and all those heartfelt moments as if they, really happened. Then you learn that those feelings are just imaginary. You never ACTUALLY felt them, because those events never happened to you. I don't know I guess it's just a heart-brain connection thing.

All there is to say is that no matter what life brings up, a fanfic can help you feel any way that you wanna feel. It's power is honestly magical, or vice versa, well for fangirls at least. ;)

Sometimes, I go back a reread the endings of all the great fanfics I've written and then think about that whole entire story to begin with. Try it, it makes time fly by much quicker, and it's fun and touching to think about what the characters have been through and what has become of them. Then, you realize you accomplished to read that entire fan fiction that lasted more than half a year. And for some weird reason, I love the feeling. :)
