I am a firm believer in the power of the pen, and I value every writer who has the courage to put their soul onto the page. However, I'm like Wale: I'm rooting for everybody Black. Know that it isn't about exclusion. It's about emphasis. 

Being a fan of all literature and being a champion for Black excellence aren't mutually exclusive; I'm simply here to give credit where it is long overdue. In a world where our narratives are often sidelined, I'm shining a light on Black creators to ensure our voices, our tropes, and our brilliance are front and center.
