I've been working on a short story that I'm really excited to finish and post !!

WHY DO ALL THESE STORIES GOTTA END SO HEART WRENCHINGLY. ALL I WANTED WAS A SOLID PLOT WITH SOME GAYS AND A DECENTLY HAPPY ENDING IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR

honestly there needs to be more lgbt books where it's not necessarily evolving around a high school/adult setting in a vanilla world battling to find your inner self and accept your difference and don't get me wrong; those books deserve all the positive feedback they get, but where's the diversity? 
          the action, thrillers, adventurous books, with just as much twist and zest as any other fantasy book?? 
          I'm so just so sad there's not a larger selection of lgbt where lgbt isn't the sole topic of the entire book.
