This year is coming to an end. I am not sure how to feel about it. I have lost so much. I barely had Artemis in 2023 as she died in the beginning months, and yet it still hurts that I will have to start 2024 without her. I will forever miss her dearly. That includes the other missed companions as well. I am not where I want to be, and I am trying to tell myself that it will get better. I get downhearted seeing everyone have what I used to before I lost everything, and it is not even in a hateful way, I am just really frustrated and upset with my situation right now. I try not to complain because who wants to come off as whiny? I wish that a new year instantly fixed it all. I will continue to hope for a happier future.
