It's been a month since my last story update.
I'm planning on writing A Patchwork of Tomorrows. I've actually managed to outline the story from start to finish now, although I ended up changing the ending again. Haha.
I only need to add more scenes to the outline and make sure everything flows better and the events connect naturally.
The only problem is... I've been so busy with work that I haven't even had the time to touch my outline. Though I've already listed down the things I want to add to A Patchwork of Tomorrows, so at least there's that.
I also haven't edited The Summer I Found You and The Day the Rain Stopped's manuscript, nor have I written the other extra chapter I wanted to add.
I've just been so busy with work lately, and honestly, I've also been getting annoyed with my demanding boss. She keeps praising my work, but at the same time, she keeps making me revise almost everything. She's so nitpicky, too, and the most annoying part is that she always sends one revision at a time.
I'll finish the first thing she asks me to revise, and then she'll suddenly send another revision that she could've easily mentioned in the first message. Like... you could've told me that from the beginning!
She's so demanding na akala mo naman napakalaki ng binabayad sa akin. Kung afford ko lang talagang umayaw sa work na 'to, ginawa ko na. Kaso kapag umayaw ako, I already know I'd get another earful from both my mother and sister, so tiis-tiis muna.
Anyway, that's pretty much what's been up with me since I finished The Day the Rain Stopped.
I don't know if anyone's actually waiting for my updates or if anyone's even reading this, but I'd still like to share this just in case someone is waiting.
Life happens, and sometimes it gets in the way of the things we love doing. But I'll make sure to get back to the stories I've always wanted to write.
And hopefully, you'll still be here to enjoy the process with me.
