If you want a good pride novel to read try Red, White, and Royal Blue. It’s a contemporary romance and honestly reads like a fanfic (it is classified as an 18+ read tho, so be warned)

Oh my gods
I just finished the book A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik, and it is my new favorite!!!!!
It’s a dark fantasy, set at a school for magic (nothing like Harry Potter) and the main character is an outcast seventeen year old girl named Galadriel or El
She is a wonderfully rude, sarcastic and cold character who is absolutely amazing!!!!
There is some rough language in the book and intense scenes so would recommend for anyone twelve and up.
Anyways, if you need a new book give it a try. It’s also part of a trilogy and the next book comes out in September. It’s driving me crazy to have to wait because of a cliffhanger ending

You know those days that are just meant for reading? You can just curl up with a book for hours in end. Today was one of those for me, the weather was a little chilly and the sky was overcast so basically all I did was avoid schoolwork, eat a pint of ice cream, and re-read Red White and Royal Blue

Ok so I love the caleo ship, it’s super cute and all. But does anyone else think it would have been a great storyline if a girl had landed on Calypso’s island. No MAN can ever find Ogygia twice, but then couldn’t a lady? It would have been so cool if someone like Reyna ended up meeting Calypso, they wouldn’t even need to fall in love, but a close friendship could be plausible and gotten her off the island. I’m not all that attached tho the calypso-Leo romance so I thought is would be cool.

It really would make for an interesting storyline! I didn’t really like the idea of calypso waiting for guy to save her, when pretty much all the female characters where shown to be really powerful, and able to hold their own, calypso was just waiting for a guy to save her.............. she’s powerful too, and I get she’s cursed and all, but in the riordon verse I felt it didn’t exactly fit. As we see in the trails of Apollo, caleo wast the perfect pairing, they had a lot to work through. It woulda been a bit better if calypso fell for Leo under less pressing circumstances.......
