As I've said before, writing is taking a huge back seat right now. I've probably lost majority of my readers any how, but an update will be coming just in time.
I've been back in England two weeks since being abroad/ holidays for just over 5 weeks.
The past two weeks I've been doing charity work and actually set up my own charity, you can dm me if you want more info idk?? But yeah, it's been such an eye opener and such an emotionally draining, but also rewarding experience.
It's something I can honestly say has changed my life, and now will become part of my weekly routine along side work, college, family and friends.
Being the leader of the charity people assume you get paid, I can tell you right now that is not the case here. All funding and costs have come out of my own back pocket- so my stress levels are sky high now. But after showing how successful we can be, we have managed to secure a starting fund of £15,000 for January. (I may have cried a little when this got announced)
It's taken TWO WEEKS(!!!) for us as a charity to be taken seriously. TWO WEEKS for us to appear on numerous news channels and radio stations, and two weeks to secure long term funding to make sure this goes ahead.
I just want you all to know where I've been. And if we can do this in two weeks as a charity, I can only imagine where we will be in two years
