hi everyone! i'm not returning from my hiatus yet, but i just wanted to come back to speak on israel's genocide of palestine. going through my notifications, i've noticed a ton of posts (some of which are old now, but still) from mutuals stating that they aren't educated enough on the issue to speak on it, so i thought i would put up my own post going over just some of what has been happening. 
          	
          	as hopefully most of you know by now, israel has been murdering palestinians and stealing palestinian land for over seventy years. if the current genocide of palestinians continues, it's very possible that they could be completely wiped out. the gaza strip (among what little land palestine has left) has had all their connections cut off. there are loved ones' bodies trapped under rubble, innocents who don't know if they'll see their families again, and they are all inhaling dust and soot from the aftermath of attacks. israel kidnaps palestinian children on a daily basis, thousands of which are currently locked in dungeons. just earlier today, i learned that bodies of numerous decomposing premature babies were found at the icu in al-nasser hospital because the israeli military refused to transport them for treatment, so families were forced to leave their newborns to die. they were only discovered during the temporary ceasefire by reporters. israel, and the western governments who fund and endorse this behaviour, are so beyond depraved of humanity.
          	
          	western media will never show you any of this, nor will it highlight the utter barbarity of this evil regime. countries and corporations alike are siding with israel while palestinians are losing their lives. this is genocide. (1/2)

you may feel helpless and like there is nothing you can do because you aren't there - but that's not true. donate to trustworthy companies/charities that support palestine (anything helps), support palestinian-owned businesses, watch tiktok videos from which proceeds go to said companies/charities, boycott companies that are funding israel by not consuming or buying their products, sign petitions to call for a ceasefire, take down pro-israel propaganda (HOWEVER!!!!!! people have been putting razors under pro-israel posters to stop others from removing them - PLEASE be careful and take precautions before you tear them down!!), and very importantly, educate yourself and others using reliable sources.
          	  
          	  that being said, many of my mutuals have done an absolutely fantastic job at spreading awareness, posting links, providing information, and more - whether we're actually friends, acquaintances, or don't talk at all, i really do commend each and every one of you for being so diligent and persistent about this. 
          	  
          	  i stand with palestine, and you should too. if you have chosen to "stay neutral" or to turn a blind eye and don't even know what's going on right now, it is never too late to educate yourself. if you were in the same devastating situation that millions of innocent palestinians are, you would want the world to stand with you too. if you disagree with supporting palestine, please unfollow me - i don't want anything to do with you whatsoever.
