Just thinking out loud --
Hello my Lovely Readers,
I see some authors on here have several books going at once but they post slowly -- some as slow as one chapter every two weeks or once a month. I have lots of story ideas plotted out with a plan to complete them one at a time. But I'm itching to get them in front of readers, even if imperfect. Let's do a poll.
What do you prefer?
1. Complete stories - all chapters uploaded at once (I need to binge!)
2. One serialized story at a time with frequent updates (weekly or more frequently)
3. Several serialized stories at a time with slower updates (once every two weeks or greater)
4. I always wait for serialized stories to be completed before I read.
Maybe I should make this an actual poll somewhere but I don't know where lol
No opinion is too silly -- after all this post is silly!

@petalandsnowink Lol I can relate XD Writers have a tendency to yap constantly, but that's what makes you a passionate writer! Objectively speaking, it's better to serialize your story. Not only does it allow a constant stream of interest, but it also helps you in the Wattpad algorithm. The algorithm favors constant updates, in addition to a bunch of stuff only HQ knows, so if you post maybe 5 chapters at once to begin the story, then post regular updates (you can choose), it could get you out there more, and it'll still help people like me who have a mile long TBR list by keeping the story fresh in our minds. Sometimes I do end up reading an ongoing story I meant to wait longer for, just because of sheer curiosity. So anything can happen!

@DelinaWeavesaTale I completely understand being a mosaic writer. I actually have about seven stories swirling in my head all fighting to get out first. We'll see who wins. I might just publish as I'm inspired. If ppl read it, they read it. If they don't, they don't. I'm not here for the numbers. However, I am addicted to reader comments. I can't lie! XD

@MizMac54 Well, that makes me feel honored as well as feel a ton of pressure! I hope I don't ruin your altered policy. I'll do my best to make FDC as entertaining as I'm capable of. I appreciate the trust and support! In the future, I plan on releasing completed books though. TWC was technically near completion when I serialized it, but fan feedback altered the ending. FDC is requiring all the discipline I can muster to focus and finish. Thanks for being a fan of little ole me!
