I wanna know why People hate first person in fanfiction when it's perfectly acceptable in regular fiction
Someone do like a study on it I am struggling as someone who is ten times better at writing in first person than third
@petrichor_idyllic Yeah I think so, since it would be a new character to the reader. But by nature of it being fanfiction people might click off if it’s first person anyway. But tbh just write what you want to write
@annflan yeah you're right on that lol, I think it's hard for people to write existing characters anyway, but like do you reckon first person would work with like an oc story? Like the perspective is written from your character instead of a character that already exists yanno?
