          stemming from being a colony of america, emilio’s people have always had a preference for foreign or western things and even languages.
          
          he feels as if he’s inferior to the western countries. but hides it to avoid any conflict or to keep up that happy and proud personality of his.
          
          he feels guilty for having sections in stores that focus on SKIN WHITENING.
          he feels awful.
          
          and sometimes even beats himself up at night about how he sometimes comes off dependent on america for some things..
          
          its getting better now but
