breaking my hiatus for a moment to bring attention to Bring Chanel Home. Chanel is a four year old Indigenous girl from Alaska, who was taken away from her family and placed into a non-Indigenous home after her father k*lled her mother. The family she was placed with has made it clear that they have no respect for her, and have posted disgusting things in regard to Chanel, such as calling her "little native baby mowgli. Her grandmother has been trying to gain custody of her for three years. The custody hearing is tomorrow (Monday July 17). Please sign the petition and spread awareness!!
