          I apologize for my abrupt disappearance since the last update. I started a new job and school shortly after the update which had disrupted my routine. It weakened my inspiration to write too because I was drained between these two things and other life commitments. My exciting news is I will be graduating with my Bachelors here in the next couple weeks. My focus is entirely on finishing my undergrad program strong. I have lots to get done in the next few weeks. Once the dust has settled, I have high hopes to return to the book. 
          
          For right now, I just ask for your continued patience. I appreciate you guys for sticking around and I will return! <3

Hello, lovelies!
          
          Life has been quite demanding as of late. These past few weeks have been filled with lecture after lecture and assignment after assignment. It seems like every time I think I will have a moment to myself another paper or book is dropped into my lap. However, I did find some time today to write. The next chapter will be a longer one with everything I am cramming into it so I hope that will make up for the delay. The middle portion which I connected today is over 4,000+ words alone. On Tiktok, I post little snippets as teasers. Below I’ll also put one. Thank you for your patience. I promise I have not forgotten about anyone of you. <3 I hope life is treating each of you well.

Hello, lovelies! 
          
          I truly did not think it would take me this long to update the book. I want to first apologize to each of you for that and for my lack of interaction lately. School has been more demanding which has made me feel less motivated to write unfortunately. I do have 5,000+ words of the next chapter written, it truly just comes down to just connecting some scenes and finishing it up. 
          
          That however would require me to have some time to do that. Since I am in the last 2 weeks before my spring break, teachers have assigned projects that are due before then. I am currently working vigorously to finish one project by Monday so I might find some time to write. I make no guarantees though.
          
          I DO PROMISE that the next chapter will be out for you to read by March 22nd. I know that seems far away, but that is the week of my spring break which will give me some time to wrap up the chapter and hopefully get a good chunk of the next one written. I was able to map out the next few chapters and safe to say tension will be growing from here on out. 
          
          I thank you guys for your continued support and patience. Again, I am so sorry that the next chapter has taken this long.  It will be heavy on the Stelsa and Aemond content with some hurt/comfort mingled in. If you would enjoy previews of the next chapter, I post them on my TikTok @/Phyrehazard typically.

          I have not forgotten about you guys. I know I mentioned in my last author’s note that I was off of work for the week. Originally I thought I would be flying through chapters; however, I’ve been using this time to just relax and spend it with friends. The next chapter should be out by the end of next week, for now I am going to continue enjoying this time.

          I finally have a day to sit and write! I’ve been at work the past few days and haven’t had a moment to myself. I’m hoping to have this new chapter out here soon… Thank you guys for your patience and continued support <3 

I’ve been working on chapter fourteen when I had time this week… which has been very little. I’m hoping to get it out here in the next few days though <3 sorry for the delay. Work and school got a little hectic
