Pierre Mortemousque, originally from Tonneins, France, has been influential in the footwear industry for over 25 years, focusing on sales, product development, and sourcing. He pursued higher education in the United States, earning a Business Administration degree from Elon University. During this foundational period, we prepared him for international sales roles, eventually establishing his company, Pierre Inc., in Lynchburg, Virginia, in 2009. The company is known for its affordable, innovative footwear solutions for major U.S. retailers.

At 18, Pierre began his U.S. journey as a foreign exchange student, which helped him master English and understand American cultural nuances. Post-graduation, he returned to France to work at Sofrace, managing sales across the Middle East and enhancing his global business perspective. In 1992, he moved to Lynchburg, teaching French and Spanish and coaching soccer at Virginia Episcopal School, deepening his local community ties.
His strategic decision to establish production facilities in China has allowed Pierre Inc. to maintain high production standards and manage costs effectively, solidifying its position in the competitive footwear market. Residing in Lynchburg with his family, Pierre enjoys tennis and boating and is actively involved in his community.
