            —   “ perfect .  i’m sure you’ll like them .  “  he said as he walked towards the small bar ,  then adding ,  “ unless you wanna take a breather ?  i don’t wanna keep you sitting here too long ,  too .  we could step outside as well .  “  kane offered ,  in a reassuring and inviting tone .  he knew whether it was standing or sitting for shows ,  it would definitely be tiring after a while .  at hearing her thanks and mention of the photo uploads ,  he smiled once more ,  looking over to her .  “ well ,  i can’t thank you enough for coming ,  keilani .  —  and i did get to see your photos !  they were one of the best i’ve seen ,  honestly .  very sweet .  “  he said ,  a warm smile on his lips as he was reminded of the photos .  
            the red head leaned against the bar’s counter momentarily ,  taking a glance at the drinks before turning his gaze back over to keilani ,  finding her eyes .  he quietly chuckled ,  nodding ,  “ besides water ,  uh ,  —  well ,  i’m trying to cut it a bit ,  but I would’ve probably gone for some beers .  i’m feeling a nice ,  cold old fashioned right now though .  “  he paused ,  “ what about you ?  you into hard liquor ?  “  the red head asked as he rested an arm on the counter ,  turning his body a little more to face keilani .  as they spoke ,  the bartender approached the two moments later ,  and kane turned his head to speak to him ,  “ just an old fashioned please .  and for the lady ,  —  “  he turned his head back to keilani momentarily ,  smiling once again .

            “  oh ?  i’d love to join you , if you truly don’t mind .  i’ve been looking for more bands similar to yours to listen to .  “  she said ,  following just slightly behind him as he beckoned her to follow .   a wider smile from her in response to his grinning features ,  she would nod her head .  “  oh , of course !  and i did happen to post those photos from last time , too .  thank you again for that .  and for this opportunity to see you live again . “  her voice was gentle , and her expression softened just a bit at the look he gave her .  her eyes squinted just a bit as the apples of her cheeks pressed gently into them ,  indicating a smile  .  she knew he always put his all into his performances ,  the passion he would exhibit onstage was straight evidence of that .  it was something she admired   as a lot of artists  , as they came to be famous ,   eventually would fall off due to lack of effort in their performances over time .  she didn’t think kane would ever have that problem , truly .  he seemed to love what he did .             as they approached the backstage bar ,  her eyes panned toward the drink selection briefly before glancing back up towards him .  “  what do you usually indulge in after a show , hm ?  other than water , of course .  “  she said with a soft chuckle .  “  you don’t  strike me as a hard liquor kind of guy . “

            —   kane offered a smile ,  the lines on his cheeks forming a little more .  he had to chuckle at her tease about being late ,  shaking his head gently .  “ don’t worry .  i’m actually staying here for another band coming on in a bit ,  some good friends I made on a tour from before .  would you care to join me ?  “  he asked ,  in a playful and gentle tone .  “ let’s get us those drinks ,  too .  “  he added ,  starting to take a step towards an area backstage with a small bar .  he ushered for her to follow him ,  and grinned at her comment .  “ i really appreciate that ,  keilani .  you’ll have to show me them .  “  he always made sure to give his best performance ,  and embrace the music .  it made him happy to hear keilani’s words ,  and he gave her a warm look .
