@pika_girl07 something seems to be wrong with the comments section of the story, so I'm posting this here.
          
          Sorry for the miscommunication. In the original version Hades didn't exist, just Persephone she was originally the sole goddess of the underworld. Hades came along much later and when he did her role was changed from the Goddess of the underworld to the Goddess of springtime or something like that. And as I said, even if you prefer the version where she consents. She was in no position to consent. Apollo was a literal deity, she was just a human. If the CEO of whatever company you work for decided he wanted to fuck you and solicited sex from you. Even if you said yes, he's still in a huge position of power over you and can take what he wants if you don't say yes. Therefore it is still rape. The same concept applies to the situation with Medusa. Also on a cooler note, she became a popular figurehead in the fight for violence against women in early Greco-roman society and her image can even be seen on the early versions women's shelters in Greece and rome.

@Zym0879 my intention certainly wasnt to rant. It was to educate them on the subject. Plus its really interesting.
