@dennyekaRiskiyanti That is very helpful. I believe that this book has an important message, and I don't want readers putting it down because I am trying to show a few Shakespearean scholars how clever I can be. I have already toned down the Shakespeare language from what I had originally, but will look for a few more places where I can modernize it. Thanks so much!
@BG_Davies Hmm.. i was not accustomed to Shakespearean-style dialogues. Those theatrical lines & quotes keeps making me losing my focus on the story.
I think periodical style in storytelling was one of my weakness on reading, because it happened couple of times. Fyi, i have tried (underlining the 'tried') reading James Bond : Casino Royale 3 times yet never reached 1/4 of the novel. Afterward i conclude that might be the reason i failed finishing the novel because the book i read was the first edition one, which was published sometime in the early 50's.
Did my explanation satisfied your curiosity?
Thanks for reading. If you don't mind me asking, what aspects of the book did you struggle with? I am looking to make any improvements I can, so would appreciate the feedback. There are a lot of departures from Shakespeare's storyline, especially at the end, yet the theme remains the same.
