The new theme is so pretty

I've had @PilindielTheElf as a username for just under ten years now, but it's finally time for a change. Goodbye to the long and frankly unpronounceable name (to non-Tolkien nerds) and say hello to the new and improved @piliofthevalley! New profile theme and everything (I think I had the last one for four years, which is crazy). 
          
          So yeah, don't get confused by my new name. It's still me!

I think I've watched more movies and episodes of tv shows this past semester and a half than my entire life, so give it up for my college roommates who have decided that every evening (barring homework/exam days) is for tv. We must be in the middle of at least ten different series. The newest one? Supernatural. I've watched a whopping two episodes, and I fear that the people are right to be obsessed. 
          
          (the life of fandom is coming back to me. ever since my (ongoing) batman & robin addiction last summer, it's been nonstop obsessions for me. my ao3 history must have at least tripled the last six months. now if only my former writing habits would return to me...) 
          
          A bit late, but also Happy Lunar New Year! None of you are allowed to cut your hair for the rest of the month.

Hi!! How are you doing? 

there is a whopping total of seven fanfiction on Ao3 with the tag Matt Murdock & Bruce Wayne (half of which are incomplete), and so i’m gonna need someone to kindly fix that for me. you will have my deepest gratitudes because those two would make such great angst together (and i guess plot too). 

Happy belated Thanksgiving to all the Americans and happy holiday season to everyone else! This is your monthly post from me for proof of life, and I can happily say that I'm still up and kicking (maybe not for much longer because exam season is upon us and I'm also registered to take the MCAT very very soon...). Emotionally, my heart is STILL in the world of Gotham and Batman; my Ao3 history has never been more active. Anyway, no new writing updates from me (but I SWEAR one day i'll just drop everything and vomit ten thousand words out to the world). Have an amazing day, and as as my molecular cell bio professor says at the end of each class: be good.

I start off every semester thinking I can do my work days (and weeks) in advance so that I can write on the side, and every semester, I learn so very quickly how wrong I am. It doesn't help that I'm currently on one of my "Ao3 highs" and have not exited that website in like three months. My attention span is shot. I can feel my grades suffering from it. 
          
          All that to say, I am still alive and kicking with many an idea for Tim Drake specific stories. Now that the ideas are flowing, I just need the freaking discipline (and time) to sit down and do it. (I haven't forgotten about the three unfinished works just sitting on this profile; I swear they'll be finished one day.)
