Does it only accepts English books?

I always wonder where the authors get their "Status" from like they are #234 in Fiction or #23 in Romance. Maybe this will help me also to know how my book will do. I haven't had much readers comment but I have ghost readers. But would like to get my books out there. English is my 2nd language therefore my books will have some noun and grammar problems, but I can assure you the spelling will be 99.9% correct. Hope to be part of @EtherealProject's reader group.
