I'm a big fan of: Soman Chainani, KOTLC, Rainbow Rowell, Jodi Picoult, The Summer I Turned Pretty, and classics like A Little Princess and The Secret Garden.
Books have always been close to my heart. Novels and tales of magic, betrayal, power, friendship, and love-how can you not be addicted from that first transformation into someone else's world? Stories have a special tug. They draw you in, tying invisible strings around you, first your fingers, then your wrists and arms and ankles, until you're trapped in a spiderweb of clashing words and swirling adventure. That's my favorite part. The moment when you're so caught up in what's happening that you forget the world around you. It's like therapy. Being someone else for a little bit, you know?
