hello frens :] I doubt there's very much of you left on this platform, but I just wanted to update for anyone who may come back that I have unpublished Skipping Stones.
It feels bittersweet for me because Skipping Stones was my favorite project I posted here, and I received some of the most heartwarming and inspiring comments on that story. But I've decided to take it down for the best reason I could possibly have: Skipping Stones is getting published in a literary journal.
After all these years, I rewrote Skipping Stones as a short story with original characters but the same heart. I'd like to thank everyone who read my stories, even if you never left any comments or votes (or wtvr they're called I haven't been on here in a hot minute). I wouldn't have had the courage to even TRY getting published if it wasn't for the warmth I experienced here 3-5 years ago. Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to publish my works and everyone who believed in me !! I know no one's going to read this and that you've all moved on, but it only feels right to come back here because although my journey as a published author is just beginning, my true start as the writer I am today roots back to here :). So thank you !!!
