just a teeny little thought about wattpad :)
          	
          	i joined the platform around two and a half years ago because i was scared. my family had just moved from the usa to brazil, i was suffering through online high school and some family issues. i just needed an outlet, and i stumbled on wattpad, and it just WORKED.
          	
          	here, it makes me so happy to be able to read and write without judgement. i can see my growth not only as a writer, but as a person who has gained so much experience, even in the things i write about. it’s wild that i’m doing the kinds of things my characters do— that i have friends and go out and party and have FUN— when back when i started writing during covid, even leaving the house was a pipe dream.
          	
          	but it also makes me sad to know that i’ll never have an experience like covid again: one where i can just write. i used to be able to release a chapter or more a day, each with around 2000-2500 words, and now i’m lucky to get that kind of thing out in a month. it just makes me sad since my writing has evolved into something so much greater than it was back when i was spitballing content faster than people could read it, and after all that work, my newfound skill isn’t being put to proper use.
          	
          	but even so, it makes me happy to have a place to let off steam and be happy with all of you :) i’m going through a lot of rough patches now, so thank you fellow online readers!! even if you just liked my story, or replied to a cursed comment i made on someone else’s book, thank you for making my day just a little bit better <3

OMG CONGRATULATIONZ WOOOOO ✧*。٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و✧*。That'z rlly good 2 hear that you've made new friendz and new experiencez :)) I don't blame u 4 bein dead here since ur in college now, I heard college is rlly hard and u alwayz need 2 put time in focus into it :0

@spiral_grape you just made my entire life with those comments  i made that post in april of last year and since then so much has changed—i got into uni (woo!), made new friends, had new experiences… although i’ve still been dead on here
          	  
          	  regardless, you can’t be making me cry like this  thank you so so much for all your love, it seriously means the entire goddamn world  i’m so happy i make your life a little brighter with my writing :)

And I'm srry 2 hear that :c I can't fully relate since I'm not a writer but I've seen alot of writerz i follow on here apologizin 4 slow updatez and it makez me said and kinda scared/worried bc back then, like 2021, they would update in a heartbeat 2 the point u can't keep up, but it'z not the same as it was now. So yeah, I get that thingz r changin since covid is over, but don't blame urself,,, the world alwayz changez and that can affect all of us, many ppl have changed durin and after covid so it'z normal, but I can't blame u 4 missin wut used 2 b :c 2 this day I still admire ur hard work and effort into makin storiez w/ so many wordz so fast, I alwayz wondered how u had the time, motivation, and skill. I'm not sure if ur gonna find a new skill since you've been kinda dead 4 a minute but if u do I hope u enjoy that new skill and grow from it just like u did w/ writin, I wish the best 4 u and ur future, though I do hope that in that future u continue ur writin skillz, i kinda imagined u continuin either here, on AO3, or anywhere else
          	  
          	  I hope u get thru those rough patchez!! xc We all should b tellin YOU thank u 4 makin our dayz better with ur amazin bookz. Everytime I read them nostalgia hitz me and I feel the same happiness and excitement I felt back when i read ur bookz 4 the first time <33 I'm so glad that u were able 2 write abt smt that made u happy and make other ppl happy w/ that, along w/ all the heartz, commentz, followz, and savin stories, just so so much positivity in the community all thx 2 u. I'll alwayz have respect 4 u 4 that and makin my dayz better w sm joy and excitement (and feedin me into my hyperfixation lol)!1!1! oh my god hello everyone!! super quick update for you guys.
          
          first of all, happy late holidays and happy new year to you all!! so sorry i didn’t post anything for them sooner, but i’ve had a lot going on.
          
          ⚠️ quick tw for you all in the next paragraph
          
          a little while ago, i went back to my home city to pay some old friends a visit. while i was there, i got intoxicated and was sexually assaulted by someone i considered a dear friend. i have since cut them out of my life, but i won’t go into any more detail.
          
          as anyone would be, i was in a really bad place and took a break from being online for a while. i’ve been seeing a therapist and he’s helped me a lot with coping with everything going on. i’ve really been missing writing for you guys on here, so i decided to come back and try to make more content for you all. i’m not going to put too much pressure on myself to stick to a schedule or anything, but expect some new chapters coming soon :)

hey!! i’m alive (kinda)
          
          id like to start with an apology for not really posting recently. i’ve been super busy (what else is new hahsjjdjdjd), and i can’t see any time in the foreseeable future when i’ll be able to frequently update.
          
          (if you’re, for whatever reason, curious, over the summer i did a 4-week university program overseas and a full-length math course, and this next semester i’m kicking off with 6 ap classes, so i’m kinda very extremely booked atm)
          
          basically, my book is on a kind-of hold. i really enjoy writing, but with this upcoming school year being so critical, i can’t really cut out enough time to consistently write, edit and re-edit a half decent chapter. occasionally, i might be able to squeeze out an update or two, but i can’t promise anything.
          
          again, i’m very sorry for the few people who are still sticking around to read my books after so long. i hope you all are doing well and are staying safe (:
