I believe that Animal farm isn't inherently bashing Communism it's more so bashing the leaders who don't stick to their words, the pigs at first seem reasonable but than they start acting above seen in the quote 'all animals are equal but some are more equal than others' given I might be wrong but this was my immersion of the book.

So I wrote my first full political poetry, it's called 'history repeats' and I would love it if anyone could check it out.

Although I may not have cried during my reading of Anne's diary (which is a thing I do every year) I did almost cry watching the movie 'where is Anne Frank' which says something about how heartfelt it is since I don't cry much and it is a great watch.
