More than nine long months since the last announcement-- wow. Hope everyone has been doing well, lately!
          
          I've come a long way on this writing journey, and while I hardly ever posted; I frequently worked on my stuff behind the scenes (not counting an unofficial five month hiatus from the beginning of the summer to early September).
          
          In case you haven't noticed, World Eater has been updated recently and now there is a new story with a poem and prologue called Echoes of the Eternal. To whoever is generous enough to spare the time, I hope you enjoy reading it.
          
          Readership has been quite hard to come by on this platform, so I hardly have any expectations for reception here. Everything I've done since February has mostly gone to FictionPress-- which surprisingly has received more reception there despite it being such an archaic site!
          
          Anyways, to whomever reads this; happy reading/writing as always.

After, like, fifty or so broken promises, I am happy to announce I've released my first... singular... chapter... of World Eater. This has been a long time coming, so it feels good to get this milestone out of the way. The first chapter has been mildly edited for grammar and small mistakes, but I know there is infinitely room for improvement. I would be more than happy to receive comments, suggestions, and any other feedback if you have any.

I have no readers right now, but I will post this announcement anyway! After a long writing stump... I am declaring Tasuya District forfeit. 
          
          However, just because I haven't been writing doesn't mean I haven't been thinking about writing! This project has evolved immensely on my mind for the last five months. While many concepts used in the worldbuilding aspect remain the same, the setting and premises have been greatly altered. Hell, even the main character is different. It is essentially another story of its own.
          
          The name for this project is 'World Eater'. Everything you will need to know about it is in the description and introductory parts.

Guyss, I haven’t updated in over a month but I swear there is stuff in progress…! Not sure when the next chapter will see the light of day, so until then, happy reading. 

Hey everyone.
          
          I learned what it means to actually write a Prologue, and that is... it probably shouldn't be a lengthy background dump to get people started on the book...! So, instead, I published something nice and short in order to not overwhelm newcomers. 
          
          I'll save the longer stuff for an upcoming official first chapter.

(An announcement for yesterday that didn't go through for some reason :/)
          
          Preliminary chapters 'Chamber' and 'Ritual' are out! Thank you so much for waiting. They're nearly twice as long as the chapters I'd released before, so hopefully it makes up for a little lost time (Again, sorry). You'll probably notice a change in the preceding chapters following those parts.
          
          You might be coming here from taking a peek at 'Envelope' and 'Deal' (another two chapters I've written previously), you'll see I've decided to make some revisions. It'll be quite a big change, though I won't say exactly what change just yet...! 
          
          Some of you that already read up until this point will probably be confused with the setting of the chapters I just posted, since everything I'd published thus far was kind of a slow burn of dialogue exchange. Truth be told, it had been sitting in the back of my head for a seriously long time and I think it's a much more intriguing way to begin the story anyway. It's thanks to the development of these two chapters that I'm going with the big revisions and changes I talked about previously. 
          
          With this, I think I should apologize for making such an abrupt change to the storyline, since I know some of you already took the time to read some of these chapters... so again, I'm sorry and I'll do better. 
          
          I'll end this announcement with a quick update on what I'll be looking into this next week:
          
          1) 
          Tasuya District's 'Prologue' will be getting a 'little' makeover that will give our protagonist's background a little more color. If it gets to be too long, I'll probably separate into smaller parts to make it less overwhelming for new readers.
          
          2)
          A revision to 'Envelope' as a continuation to 'Ritual'. Here, we'll discover more about who our mysterious new character is.
          
          If any of you want to see a certain priority over one of the two goals I have listed above, feel free to let me know in the comments! I'm all ears.

          I have to begin this announcement with an apology!
          
          Sorry! There haven't been any new chapters or announcements for over a week, and you guys deserve to know a little bit of what's going on behind the scenes at least. During the last week, I've found a lot of opportunities for improvement to the story and spent a lot of time planning how I was going to introduce my big ideas that would come in later chapters. 
          
          I know I promised a two-chapter release by the end of last week, but my goals have expanded to where I need more time! Again, I'm sorry for my untimeliness and promise to uphold at least a portion of my promise soon. 
          
          For now, here is what I will be working on:
          * Major revision and expansion to the Prologue
          * One preliminary chapter to what has been released so far
          * An act that could span more than two chapters
          * A small change that will be revealed at the end of the forementioned act

          P.S. If I can find the time, I will keep trying to stay up to date on your stories that I've been reading these past few weeks.

Update: I’ve gotten a new schedule change recently, so I’ll be wrapping up the beginning part of this story with 2 or 3 more chapters on the pace I’ve been going up until now… then after that, it will be at least one release every week, if I can manage! With this cut in frequency, I’ll try for longer chapters if it works out. 
          
          P.S. For this next update, I’ll be holding off for a two-chapter release. Expect big changes by the end of this week :)
