the reason why is that the authors’ comforts and beliefs are actually rooted in homophobia and heteronormativy. they don’t believe thag queer relationships are the same as hetero ones (mostly due to misinformation and homophobia) and therefore claim they’re not “comfortable” writing it. hopes this helps(?)
