Hello loves! I've had NO free time to get back writing recently bc of work and exams and deadlines, blah
However! I've been in bed after my days done, going through my drafts and LET ME TELL YOU... high school me popped off with the fanfics and the plots - over 3,000 finished or partly finished fics... 14 year old me had no business with so much free time
ANYWAY! Wanted y'alls opinions - one of the fics I wrote YEARS AGO, titled "Another Life" (probs gonna be changed), has the plot where Eleven from Stranger Things goes through a gate (season 2) and ends up in The Walking Dead universe (end of season 3). I hadn't touched this fic in years and I was so hooked reading it because I'd just forgotten the drama lol
The point - in this fic, as you can guess, El ends up with Carl. Its a big part of the plot, but not the main focus. It's an interesting fic because of the relationships El ends up creating with MANY of the other characters in The Walking Dead (like Maggie and Daryl) and was a fun experience seeing how younger me made El adapt to a new world and how her powers came into it!
Is this something any of you guys would read?
I'd be more than willing to publish it, but not sure how I'd feel going through and editing a romantic fic about El and Carl - an interesting relationship, of course, but I'm not in my mid teens anymore and don't know how well that would translate - obvs there's nothing weird with the underage characters, and most authors that write apocalypse/dystopian/fantasy books have a romance between two teenagers that's innocent and beautiful and perfect for the plot! I just wouldn't want anyone getting the wrong idea that this is me creating some weird ship when it's purely just a creative fic written by my younger self as a way to express love for my two favourite fandoms!
Obvs needs a bit of editing (spelling, inconsistencies, maybe updating the playlist)
