hey besties!! ik that i don’t have a big following and u probably aren’t going to see this lmao but i just wanted to point out something that i’ve seen on wattpad a lot, which is the demonization of femininity. in a lot media that i’ve seen, the person who is girly/likes pink/ or is very in touch with her femininity is always a bully or shamed for being ‘too much,’ while the ‘tomboy’ (who usually is a pick me) is the hero or always gets the guy. so i would like to be as inclusive as possible with my stories, but i will write stories with a feminine girl as the main character, to try my best to help dismantle the stereotype that contributes to being feminine as a bad thing. that’s all i wanted to talk about really!! thanks for reading if you’ve gotten to the end. this is also a disclaimer that not all of my stories will be using they/them pronouns. thanks!!
