@Monalisasmile2301 I get you. I think the trolling is so unfair and vicious to women around cricketers. Right now the internets villian is Komal. Virat spoke about this 10 years ago and nothing has changed. In shubmans case I just get the feeling that all parties are in agreement on whatever is said. Like his thr iv. I mean Sara has been joked/blamed if he got a low score since 2019. That takes a lot of mental peace to ignore. 
            
            I think even Shubman felt he had to prove himself to be with her. There are already enough jokes that he is a nepo damad and nonsense like that. At this point I think he is in a good place :)
            
            I was looking at my old saved folders for writing the story and got so nostalgic. Shubman used to post so many silly reels on his story. Also lots of “introvert problems” and “life of introvert” memes. It’s crazy how much time has passed and how that boy is the Indian captain now. But his dancing has and always will be awkward haha. Also watching the curly tales iv made me feel him and Sara have the same goofy sense of humour and can laugh at themselves.
            
            I find way more similarities than differences in them. Only thing her interests are very girly and his are very boyish. Like bridgerton girl and peaky blinders boy haha

@poemsforyou_13 i didn't mean in that sense. He doesn't try to hog limelight from others. I meant that the way he cleared the rumours & his thoughts about chanting felt like he was only looking out for himself. 
            Also, Shahneel & Sara despite being in the public eye didn't ask for the hate they get. KP took a stand when someone joked about Shubish but Shahneel & Sara have also been questioned about their sexuality & many other things. Still, there's radio silence about it.
            
            That's a concern of every girl parent is think. That the guy who marries their daughter is well settled & can provide the same or better life to their girl.
            
            Sachin’s FIL was from a different background & he was wary of Sachin due to the lifestyle cricketers have but Sachin understands the nitty gritties of this profession. Also, since he & Arjun are from the same field it would seem very hypocritical of him to reject a well settled cricketer.
            
            Hmm. Selectors & Coaches are also always blamed for being partial to certain players. Maybe he doesn't want that scrutiny anymore choosing to focus on his other ventures.

@Monalisasmile2301 I know, I just think they must be wary of any statement getting twisted. These days every harmless thing is getting torn apart. I hope privately they have discussed these things. He is not like virat who is bold and speaks his mind and heart. I don’t think he is self absorbed, I have never seen him hyping himself or hogging attention. I think he is quite critical of himself actually and his dad and sister are always there to humble him haha 
            
            I think the Tendulkar’s have high standards for their son in law and very protective about Sara. They are probably wary of anyone who is looking to marry her for the connection or status. They would also want someone successful and able to provide a lifestyle and class similar to what she has. I don’t mean that she needs the man to provide for her, but to match her life. Saniya definitely fits into those expectations. I don’t think simply being an ipl player or even an ict player would be enough. Ofc they all have always liked shubman as an individual but I think they would expect him to reach some levels if she were to marry him. Most importantly the guy should have maturity and a clear plan for life and post-cricket.
            
            Sachins own father in law had to be convinced to let Anjali marry him as he was an industrialist and not too fond of her marrying a famous athlete 
            
            I feel like sachin doesn’t want to be in the direct limelight.. maybe that’s why he’s never been a selector or coach for ict. Who can blame him after decades of pressure.
            
            Also all my thoughts are my theories so in no way am I saying this is fact or this is the reality :) 

That’s so sweet of you, thank you! I stopped writing the story unfortunately but maybe someday I will randomly pick it up. At the moment I have no idea how I would continue it haha.
