I call myself Poetry's Initial because I write poems (obviously) to connect with my audience. One of my friends who read a poem of mine placed her initials next to it to let me know it was her favorite poem and something that she could relate to. So from there, I decided that anyone who liked any poem I've ever wrote should initial their favorite ones (my full name is signed at the end).

I started writing in 7th grade. It started with poetry. After taking Creative Writing in high school, I now write short stories and screenplays as well. (Fun fact: When I was a freshman in high school, I entered a poetry contest by the Library of Poetry to win $500. I did not win, but they did publish my poem in their book.)
