@pogoradish also… i have a request that MAY or MAY NOT build on to that other person’s request. so like… maybe before damien falls asleep… he was walking past the mirror in his room in the dark when it started showing a creepy, bloody, burnt, disfigured version of himself with rotting flesh. and he taunts damien for sending his mother to the stake because he was unable to control his magic, how he did absolutely NOTHING to save her, and how that incident triggered the entire war again(?) and as he speaks, a bunch of smoke takes up the entire room and surrounds him just like it was surrounding angela, making it feel like his mother was haunting him even though she’s technically still alive… then he wakes up, and it turns out he was just having a nightmare. unable to go to sleep after that, he runs to william’s room and asks if he can sleep with him. and william’s coincidentally also unable to sleep. so william agrees. maybe this could also take place pre-canon? so this should OBVIOUSLY just be angst and fluff, lol! sorry for the long prompt and grammar inconsistencies!
