do you think werewolf-witch hybrids keep their magic, or does that ability dip after triggering their curse??

@polaroized i get you i get you. i’m trying to write a legacies book, and i want my main oc to be a witch-werewolf hybrid, but im not sure how to go about it and have the logic and her powers make sense/follow the rules of the supernatural world

@-SUMMERL0VINGS there actually was a witch-werewolf hybrid in a trilogy of books about the originals living in new orleans written as a prequel to the show. her name was vivianne if i remember and she had a romance with klaus. i havent read the book (but i do own it) and so far i dont know what her powers were

i always assumed they lose their magic or it got generally more weaker. when a witch becomes a vampire, that part is cut off forever, but i always assumed it was different with werewolves because they’re still alive. so the witch-werewolf hybrid in question could still ‘feel’ stuff but not necessarily preform magic. like how bonnie’s mom still ‘felt’ her garden even when her magic was gone but then couldn’t as a vampire.
