I’ve also really needed to hear this. Lately I’ve been forcing myself to watch depressing videos about police brutality for whatever reason and that makes me even more scared because I live right next to a freaking COP! And he decides what everyone does and how to handle situations, so all the crappy shit the LA police officers have been doing to protests was probably approved and set in motion by him. And my brother just said he doesn’t think, oh sorry he says he “knows”, white privilege, male privilege, and systematic racism don’t exist.
