Writing, especially fan fiction, is about your perception of your character coming to life. It's taking the way you feel your character would react in a certain situation, adding in the context, and creating a story. We all view out protagonist in a different light. So in the sense, there is no right or wrong in writing. So long as you're words honestly reflect what you've seen. That is when your story truly comes to life.
