sweet smiles, elated eyes
cheerful cheeks sewed upside
sorrow sadness kept inside
a smiley face worn as disguise
a flesh-eating parasite inside
as I put the needle deep in my skin
loud lamenting screams of pain
as somber as what i feel withinᜊ
