Alani was the epitome of perfect to everyone around her, and to be honest she was. At least in her mother's eyes and all her rich, proper-mannered friends. Her hair was always styled with tight curls or a neat updo, her makeup hiding the imperfections no one ever saw, her clothing made just for her curves and dips, sculpting out the woman everyone wanted her to be, but behind the dazzling facade, she hid an ugly truth that she swore she would never reveal.
