Ramen! 

hello all! I just wanted to give a heads up that there won't be an update this week (I probably won't be implementing the schedule officially for a few weeks while I get used to school starting again, which is in a few weeks for me. I've been very busy moving and getting set up in the new city, which is why I haven't been on much! but I will post an announcement again once the schedule starts up :) hope those of you starting school (or in it now!) are enjoying it!

alrighty - finally the big updates! so sorry it took me a while, I wanted to get that new fic out first and I've had some busy days these last few weeks as well, but we're here now so! firstly, I know I say it all the time, but I wanted to thank you guys for being so so patient with me. I appreciate that many of you stuck around despite me not updating with a fic since early this year (it's been so long, I know!). 
          
          personal update first - I already told you guys that I got my Masters in English this past month, which was so exciting. I didn't say anything about the next step in my life because I was afraid to jinx it, but I confirmed my acceptance to a PhD program for later this fall! I am so excited now that it's official, and I have been prepping the last few weeks to move. this means a few things - I no longer have to work full time while being in school full time, because 1) I have to quit my jobs since I'll be moving so far and 2) most PhD programs don't want you to work because technically, you'll already be working for the school and won't have time. so...what does this mean for writing on here? it will be an adjustment period for sure. while I won't be as busy without my two jobs, I will be a full time student again and PhD's require much more work than undergrad or masters programs. it will take me some time to figure out a new schedule. however, I think it might be safe to say that I should have more time for writing.
          wattpad update: this one's not as exciting, but I will be testing out a posting schedule. I can't make promises - but I've learned this past year that I can stick to a schedule for school, and maybe I can for posting on here. I want to keep up my writing practice, too, so I want to treat this like schoolwork in a way. right now the plan is every other Sunday there will be a new chapter (whether a one shot, continuation of a fic, etc). as the semester starts this probably will be iffy, but we'll see.

Hey uhh..., I know you may have a lot of work to do but you're still doing a sequel to "far from love"? 

hi guys! :) so sorry I haven't been on much. I finished my MA and really had to work 24/7 to get my dissertation in, hence why I haven't been on here nor tumblr for like two months. I have exciting news to come, both from a personal level and a wattpad level, so stay tuned - thank you all for being patient with me during this time!!!

happy may! I hope you are all doing well. I'll start off by saying I have no major updates at the moment :/ just continuing work on my degree, wrapping up finals with my students, and planning for the summer!

hello everyone - long time no see! 
          
          I just wanted to say thank you for all the messages asking how I'm doing - I'm okay! I've been pretty busy as it's almost the end of my time at grad school, and the last month I've been helping my students prep for midterms and all that. not to mention working on my thesis, lol. because of that, and my part time job outside of academics, I've just been really busy. I had hoped to post a fic on my birthday but unfortunately life just happens and I haven't had time to finish it! last weekend I was surprised by some family and friends for a birthday party which I haven't had since the start of covid, and I just lost track of time between that and unexpected amounts of school work. 
          
          so, to everyone concerned - don't worry, I'm just busy as per usual! I promise I'm not abandoning writing, and if you've stuck with me since I've started on here, you know this isn't the longest break I've ever taken lol. I appreciate the concern and well wishes, and thank you all for caring to check in on me! :)
          
          hopefully soon I'll be able to get back to writing some more, but I have to plan for my thesis defense and working with my students, so it'll be a little while for sure.

happy lunar new year everyone! and happy black history month! hope you guys are all staying safe and happy! :)

just wanted to stop by with a small update since it's been a while! the next fic is in the works, it's a request that has little to no angst in it for once as I have emotionally traumatized you all enough I think. it's going to be a cute one, I promise! but with school starting this week and being crazier than any semester, it will be a while still before it's finished :/
          
          I also will be going back and periodically editing / rewriting all my early peter fics because the writing is horrendous to me now and is from the days where I tried to desperately fit in with other peter writers who wrote from a very narrow lens. they were written in 2017 and early 2018 and I just don't think they fit with how I write now. so, you might see updated chapters for my first peter imagines book, but it's just me editing. I will also be writing the original posted date in all my fics now if I remember to - that way, in the context of other marvel movies and the general time frame of when I wrote them, it'll be more clear to readers why I wrote the way I did or why I included certain things. for example in revelations I wrote May as not being dusted in the blip, because at the time I wrote it, it was not confirmed that she was dusted. people keep pointing that (and other things) out so I figured I got to defend myself somehow lol. plus if I put a date in an old fic you guys can see why the writing might be a little outdated lmao.
          
          anyway, I am so excited to be writing some more, especially after all the feedback on the last oneshot and series I posted! reading your comments genuinely makes my day and makes me want to continue writing, so thank you all again so so much. hope everyone is doing well <3

okay, rather than focus on anything else important (lol), I have gone through my entire inbox and tried to format all the requests from back in march/april into a word doc so they're organized and I can actually focus on them.
          
          some of you might have gotten messages from me, and I am so sorry they're late. I have sent out messages ONLY to those people who I've had to refuse their request for one reason or another. please read my message and understand that most of these requests were really cool, they just weren't for me. I explained why in the message.
          
          those of you that did NOT receive a message - I've copied and pasted your request into my lil word doc and I plan to get started on them soon. again, I am so sorry for the delay, and there will still be some time before I complete them all, but at least they're more organized now lol. 
          
          to be clear - requests are NOT open, they are CLOSED, but for those few who had their requests refused - I'm giving you an opportunity to send another request. please make sure to read the guidelines I provided, and understand I can still refuse the next one if there's another issue I have with it. it doesn't mean it was a bad request, it just means it's not for me.
          
          thank you guys again times a million for being so patient with me. I promise not to open requests again until I'm through with these ones lol. I am not kidding when I say there are about thirty requests still  so it will take a long time. but I am so excited to write them, too :)
