Hello J,
          I’ve been reading your spiderman imagines since I was around 12 and now I’m 18. I know you don’t really post much anymore but I want to thank you for writing these imagines. Back then I read your works as a source of motivation to become better at science, at first it started out as just me trying to find motivation to study but along the way I found out I actually really enjoyed the sciences. My first college semester starts in two weeks and I’m taking petroleum engineering ,, kind of scary and kind of crazy.
          
          I want to thank you for writing these imagines. Your works really brought me comfort throughout my stressful times as a student, maybe to you they’re just imagines but to me they played a core part of my childhood; and they still do play a role in my life in some way. Anytime someone asks how I started trying for STEM I answer with “spiderman fanfics and their reactions cracks me up everytime.
          I hope life brings you well, I just wanted to let you know that your works (quite literally) impacted me. Anytime I try to find other spiderman imagines, I always find myself re-reading yours again and again. There’s just a certain way your imagines are written that makes them fun to read. Anyways this is getting really long I hope life treats you well and I do hope you continue write, even if it’s not specifically spiderman imagines <3
          

Hi, J. I hope you're doing okay. I found your account like a couple of months ago and I've ben literally obsessed. I was wondering if you were going to come back, maybe? I've been dying to know what else you're going to write. And I thought maybe if you knew there are people, or me at least, who still read you, you'd maybe get motivated? I don't know, to be honest. hello all! I just wanted to give a heads up that there won't be an update this week (I probably won't be implementing the schedule officially for a few weeks while I get used to school starting again, which is in a few weeks for me. I've been very busy moving and getting set up in the new city, which is why I haven't been on much! but I will post an announcement again once the schedule starts up :) hope those of you starting school (or in it now!) are enjoying it!

alrighty - finally the big updates! so sorry it took me a while, I wanted to get that new fic out first and I've had some busy days these last few weeks as well, but we're here now so! firstly, I know I say it all the time, but I wanted to thank you guys for being so so patient with me. I appreciate that many of you stuck around despite me not updating with a fic since early this year (it's been so long, I know!). 
          
          personal update first - I already told you guys that I got my Masters in English this past month, which was so exciting. I didn't say anything about the next step in my life because I was afraid to jinx it, but I confirmed my acceptance to a PhD program for later this fall! I am so excited now that it's official, and I have been prepping the last few weeks to move. this means a few things - I no longer have to work full time while being in school full time, because 1) I have to quit my jobs since I'll be moving so far and 2) most PhD programs don't want you to work because technically, you'll already be working for the school and won't have time. so...what does this mean for writing on here? it will be an adjustment period for sure. while I won't be as busy without my two jobs, I will be a full time student again and PhD's require much more work than undergrad or masters programs. it will take me some time to figure out a new schedule. however, I think it might be safe to say that I should have more time for writing.
          wattpad update: this one's not as exciting, but I will be testing out a posting schedule. I can't make promises - but I've learned this past year that I can stick to a schedule for school, and maybe I can for posting on here. I want to keep up my writing practice, too, so I want to treat this like schoolwork in a way. right now the plan is every other Sunday there will be a new chapter (whether a one shot, continuation of a fic, etc). as the semester starts this probably will be iffy, but we'll see.

Hey uhh..., I know you may have a lot of work to do but you're still doing a sequel to "far from love"? 

hi guys! :) so sorry I haven't been on much. I finished my MA and really had to work 24/7 to get my dissertation in, hence why I haven't been on here nor tumblr for like two months. I have exciting news to come, both from a personal level and a wattpad level, so stay tuned - thank you all for being patient with me during this time!!!

happy may! I hope you are all doing well. I'll start off by saying I have no major updates at the moment :/ just continuing work on my degree, wrapping up finals with my students, and planning for the summer!
          
          I am also planning some writing for this summer, too, given that I have some time off :) hope to post some things soon! thank you all for the patience as I've been working on school, I appreciate you all so so so much <3

hello everyone - long time no see! 
          
          I just wanted to say thank you for all the messages asking how I'm doing - I'm okay! I've been pretty busy as it's almost the end of my time at grad school, and the last month I've been helping my students prep for midterms and all that. not to mention working on my thesis, lol. because of that, and my part time job outside of academics, I've just been really busy. I had hoped to post a fic on my birthday but unfortunately life just happens and I haven't had time to finish it! last weekend I was surprised by some family and friends for a birthday party which I haven't had since the start of covid, and I just lost track of time between that and unexpected amounts of school work. 
          
          so, to everyone concerned - don't worry, I'm just busy as per usual! I promise I'm not abandoning writing, and if you've stuck with me since I've started on here, you know this isn't the longest break I've ever taken lol. I appreciate the concern and well wishes, and thank you all for caring to check in on me! :)
          
          hopefully soon I'll be able to get back to writing some more, but I have to plan for my thesis defense and working with my students, so it'll be a little while for sure.
