            alice and darien were downstairs in the living room when evelynn and zeke came down . darien glanced over and waved , then looked back to alice .

the dolls soon emerged from the bathroom , evelynn going and plugging zeke back up as they played with his hair

            thankfully , alice was alright , just a bit uncomfortable .

            darien glanced over at them , getting up to unplug them .

            due to the fact that he didn't have a lot of items ,, it took barely any time for him to clean up his mess and leave him with nothing to do . so , he began to sharpen the spikes on his bat . 
            he was being careful , more careful than he normaly was ,, but somehow he managed to cut himself - and everyone knows that cuts mean blood . and blood means biters. 
            as soon as he felt the cut he dropped his bat ,, putting pressure on the wound that crossed his palm . still ,, it was too late . blood began to pour from the cut despite his efforts . 
            
            mikey slung his bat over his shoulder and quickly wrapped it up in a piece of cloth fabric that he had . " are you - you guys ready ? " he hollered to the two ,, wanting to get out of there before any biters got to them.

            she did appreciate that he was keeping his eyes away , though as long as he wasn't checking her out , she wouldn't have minded . at least he wasn't seeing all the scars she had , from both before and after the biters started their invasion .
            
            she was soon back at the camp , having changed clothes and leaving her other ones to dry on the hood of the pickup truck in the meantime . she went to go help darien pack up their things and load them into the truck .

            it didn't matter to michael whether alice was still covered somewhat ,, the boy was raised that you never look without permission so he never would . if he did , it would make him feel horrible because everyone deserves the right to keep their bodies to theirselves.  
            once she took the clothes ,, he turned from her and made his way back up to the camp with the intent to pack up his stuff.
