          It’s okay to grieve your idols. Enjoying an art that another has shared so passionately is something to be grieved deeply. 
          
          Like a lot of fans, I grew up with you. I was 18 when I voted for One Direction on the X Factor. I have followed you all along the way, and now… for such a sudden end. I’m broken that it had to end for you this way. 
          
          Most of when I wrote about you in my writing, you were alway honest, loyal, caring and wise. Because that’s what you were. To my boys, to us, but never to yourself. 
          
          I am so fucking gutted. This hurts in a way I didn’t think it could.
