Hello everyone, I would like to address something I was recently made aware of. A writer on another writing platform has stolen my story, The Older Man, and attempted to pass it off as their own. I take this very seriously and have already addressed the people in charge of the website to take the proper measures to resolve this. I have also personally contacted the writer himself to address this issue with him directly.
          	
          	Plagiarism is 100% wrong and in a lot of cases, legal action can actually be taken to correct it. I’m telling you all this because I keep my readers informed on practically everything. I believe in transparency between me and my readers; that’s why I always do my best to keep you all in the loop on any new updates with my stories, old and new. 
          	
          	I’m very grateful to the Wattpad user @faiza07d for bringing this to my attention. I would greatly appreciate it if you all could go over to the website or app, Inkitt, and report the story ‘Age Is Just A Number.’ The story was uploaded by a user called Sin Adane. You can all see for yourself how painfully obvious the plagiarism is. Despite changing character names and chapter titles, the story is evidently my original work, The Older Man.
          	
          	If any of you are aware of other stories on Wattpad or another site that directly steal any of my work, please inform me of it immediately. 
          	
          	It breaks my heart to know that a story I worked hard to create with my then boyfriend Matthew is being stolen and passed off as someone else’s. I hope you all will help me in tracking down any other forms of plagiarism of my work.
