I decided recently that I want to live fully alive. I've learned that love, service, and risk are some of the main things that make life worth living, and I think that sharing my ideas kind of embodies those things. I think I might be able to serve people in love by sharing my ideas, and there's always the risk of people not caring or violently disagreeing with me (I plan to write about very controversial things). I think that sharing your ideas really is the point of writing, since I haven't found a better reason, to date, and I can't seem to write about anything that doesn't matter a whole lot. Almost every idea embedded in my story is related to an opinion of mine that I care about. When I watch movies or read books that have elements of injustice, I tend to binge write afterword, really just fuming about what I hate in the world. When I read an inspiring book, I get this feeling of elation that often translates into new and weird ideas. 

As for the little things, I like running, reading, writing, listening to and playing music, running around aimlessly, taking long walks at night, and other things that make me feel alive. 

I've been working on this manuscript of mine for a few years now, it's gone through so many revisions, and I think it's actually getting good now. I laugh at that, though, because that's what I was so excited about right before I realized I needed to go back and start writing the third draft. To twist a popular phrase, it was the third of many.
