Happy New Years to everyone! Hope 2016 was good to you and 2017 will be even better! 

So tonight was the season opener for the Leafs. Let's talk about Auston Matthews. I'm still in shock of the events that unfolded during the game. Like 4 goals in your NHL debut?! That's insane. His parents looked SO happy! But then the Leafs ended losing, typical... How does Matthews score 4 goals and you still lose?! I'm still confused what happened a few years back with that lead in the playoffs ugh. Anyway, Matthews is just a miracle on ice. Excited for what's to come throughout the season

Toronto Blue Jays. Second season in a row we beat the Texas Rangers in the ALDS. Boy was game 3 a crazy one! That walk off win was just everything and more. I'm so proud of this team and let's hope we can make it to the WS this year 

So today was the first game of the ALDS and Estrada totally dominated the game! 10-1 Jays, that's crazy. Watch out Rangers 

Connor McDavid. 19 years old and he's now the captain of the Edmonton Oilers. Me? What am I doing with my life? 
          
          Seriously tho, major congrats to Connor for achieving such an amazing milestone! 

Canada is once again on top of the world! Congrats to Team Canada on winning the World Cup of Hockey. Canada has been doing so well in international hockey in the last few years, its crazy. 

Okay, so this morning I woke up to something really sad that happened. I'm sure most of you probably know by now. I'm not a huge Marlins fan but I do know about Jose Fernandez and all the amazing things he's done on the field. He was only 24 years old and taken from this earth way too early. The worst part about this is he won't be able to see his child. My condolences to his friends and family. RIP Jose, you will be missed dearly
