@prongspilled i think it exactly like you. i kinda hate it when the oc’s are too powerful or ‘special’. i mean, i get the fact that us writers want our characters to be good, but often the best fics are the ‘normal’ ones

personally, i like it better without many powers and such, but i’m kind of too gullible, like i'll read pretty much any plot, even the most common ones, if the writing is good.

comment sections filled with shock that "i didn't know india had so many baddies" under videos of tvla's concert in mumbai is really not the compliment that yall think it is. like the constant micro racism and back handed comments toward india is so normalised its insane. the way media portrays only bad parts of india genuinely pisses me off.

@meridathebeaver yess i completely agree. i have seen many of my neighbouring countries get loads of hate too. south asian hate just pisses me off so bad, especially when south asian roots are all over the world. what makes me even more anger is east asians joining the hate train along with other white supremacist people, as if east and south asians aren't the same freaking people. i just saw a comment saying they didn't "know" india had baddies because we always cover up or wear sarees and such. just a video after that, i saw gucci's new release, blah blah blah, which are basically kurtis! like pick a side, either dislike our culture and leave us alone, or be friendly, and do whatever trends y'all want.

@prongspilled i think the entire south asia region in general faces more racism online especially from white supremacist people from all over the world. they don't have any shame or whatsoever when they essentially 'steal' south asian culture, fashion and brand it as a new trend or 'exotic' without properly appreciating their true history and heritage.
