Upon rereading Stars Align to refresh myself on the details, it shocks me how much 2018/19 me thought it was OK to use horribly triggering topics with minimal trigger warning as a form of driving the story. It's insensitive and exhausting to read and I don't know how comfortable I'd be continuing it.
I feel as if it's way better done and more sensitively handled like with Pheasantmist's chapter in Switch.
Stars Align? It's just a lot of misery and overdescriptive gore one after the other with no breaks. It's constant trauma to drive a story and I don't feel much else. We have enough of the misogyny and trauma in the real world.
Let me know your thoughts?

I agree. I love your writing and a part of my adores Stars Align, but as writers we need to acknowledge a lot that was written between the period of 2017-2019 in the fandom was for shock factor and awfully triggering. I, myself, has admitted to this in my works written at the time. I think it’s best if we perhaps move on from things like that.
