@-tangothefts adeline listened to the woman speak, waiting to hear something that would mean something to her. that mention of photos of an agent talking to a spy certainly caught her attention. “did they say what organization? either the organization the agent’s from or the spy?” she hoped this woman at least got a *little* more than what she had just told the brunette. the mention of them disappearing caused adeline to run a hand over her face. that only meant they were going to find someone else to do that work for them.

She would nod in understanding, but also in a way of thanking the other woman again, before answering her: "An envelope. With some photos. They switched to Spanish thinking I wouldn't understand them, but hola <hello>, I'm from Argentina!" she scoffed, shaking her head. "Turns out, they've got pics on an agent talking with a spy from a rival organization, or something of the sorts. I didn't understand that part very well... the envelope was being kept in an office. I should retrieve it for them. I didn't get to do it, though, they disappeared before we had a chance to discuss the details."

born and raised in new orleans, louisiana, adeline grew up knowing how to take care of herself and how to keep herself safe. as she got older, this led to an interesting skill of hers: the ability to turn anything into a weapon. sure, she’s proficient with a gun or a knife, but have you ever seen someone use a CD as a weapon? well, she used one to murder her husband after he cheated on her.
this skill is what caught the CIA’s attention and put her in their sights to become a part of a special program. when it was offered to her, of course she said yes. her past being erased *and* she gets out of jail? any smart person would agree to that.
adeline was all for the program. well, at least until she found out that the CIA was sending the program’s agents to take out their own. after that, she started having her doubts, and now she wants out of the program before her life is the next one claimed.
