1989 (taylor’s version)

“slut!” is by far one of the best songs i’ve ever heard, i actually lost all oxygen
- favourite lyric: “in a world of boys, he’s a gentleman”
‘now that we don’t talk’ this song has scratched every single surface of my brain.
- favourite lyric: “and the only way back to my dignity was to turn into a shrouded mystery”
‘say don’t go’ this song has sent me mentally into orbit.
- favourite lyric: “why’d you have to twist the knife? walk away and leave me bleedin’, bleedin’?”
‘suburban legends’ AHHHHHH loved this. genuinely no words, except for oh my god.
- favourite lyric: “you’d be more than a chapter in my old diaries with the pages ripped out”
‘is it over now?’ i actually claimed this track before it came out and oh my gosh, again, THE STORYLINE. cheating?? the lyrics are so bloody good.
- favourite lyric: “you dream of my mouth before it called you a lying traitor”

to summarise: i could write an essay about every single song, however instead i’m going to write about them in the form of one-shots… surprise? i’ve been working on a marvel one-shot book since around april where every chapter is based on a taylor song. it’s safe to say it had to be split into two books…
sooo, there’s something to look forward to i hope ;)
