We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.

Was avoiding a possible heartbreak that might have shattered you worth never getting a taste of the heavens? Was killing the potential pain and heartache worth it? Was it worth it?
Guilt is a hunter.
Fate is a hunter.
Shame is a hunter.
Fear is a hunter.
Enough studying. Sometimes living life is more instructive than studying it.
How many nights does it take to count the stars?
That's the time it would take to fix my heart.
There are worse things in the world than a boy who likes to kiss other boys.
